uhm i dont use a conventional glaze, its actually some concoction me and my grandma made because we were having so many problems with peeling and icky stickyness from other glazes, so im not real sure which one i would recommend...

Your stuff is super kawaii! I play around with polymer clay as well and I'm wondering... do you know what type of glaze is best for polymer clay? I heard that not all make it shine; some peel off, etc..
